EIG offers the following Services and Products
- EIG begins with a Needs and Site Assessment of your property performed by trained technicians. Pat Holt, the lead assessor is NABCEP certified. Kristie Carol and Mary McShannuck are NABCEP trained.
- If you already have an Energy Audit funded by an energy utility, EIG will "audit the audit". Sometimes, additional savings can be found.
- These assessments indicate the priority of energy saving solutions. This includes stopping air leaks, better insulation, more efficient appliances and appropriate lighting.
- Once these needs have been filled, EIG will recommend appropriate Renewable Energy systems like solar, wind and geothermal. Patrick Holt and Coleman Craft backed by Darryl Thayer and Ralph Dickinson specialize in system design and proposal writing. These Renewable Energy systems include Grid-Tie, Off- Grid Battery Charging and Wind Power for electrical needs. EIG will supply Solar Thermal and Geothermal for those heating with electricity or propane..
- Once a proposal is accepted, EIG approaches its team of highly qualified installing contractors for bids. After a bid is let, Coleman Craft or Jan Hubbard act as liaison between you and the contractor.
- One of the problems with Solar Systems is that they require space and expense to store the energy collected during daylight to be released during night time. EIG is beginning relationships with two new vendors. One provides an efficient storage battery system to store electricity. The other provides an efficient heat storage system to store heat. This system can also give off heat during the cool of night and take it back in during the heat of day, thus providing efficient space cooling.
